As the whole world knows PIEAS as a well-renowned university in Pakistan. How Many Types of Students can Register at PIEAS
There are four types of students can register at PIEAS Which are given below.
- As a regular Student(fee basis)
- As a fellowship (PAEC and IT & Telecom Endowment Fund)
- HEC scholarship( for Ph.D. students)
4. Eligibility Criteria
PIEAS University made different eligibility criteria for Regular students and Fellowship. if you are regular students then eligibility criteria will be for you and different for the fellowship scheme students. They consider two types of students overall.
- Regular Fee Basis
- Sponsors Students/Fellowships
1. Regular Fee Basis
The eligibility criteria for admission in PIEAS as regular students in the MS program are the following. (1)Through the academic career, the preferably 1st division is required. (2)You have passed the Pre-requisite course of the programs for which you are applying. (3) At any level of your education from Matriculation to graduation if you got only one-time 2nd division (greater than or equal to 50) then it is also allowed. (3) If you got 3rd division at any stage of your education then you are not eligible for admission in PIEAS as Regular Students but however, if you are nominees of the foreign Gov't/Agency then may get relaxation. (About Pre-requisites you can check Heading No 8)

2. Sponsors Students/Fellowships
The eligibility criteria for the fellowship scheme students are the same first 3 of the regular students. (1) Preferably 1st division. (2) Pre-Requisite course Passed. (3) 2nd division (greater than or equal to 50) only once in your whole education. (4) Fellowship max age limit for Medical students (MBBS) is 32 whereas for other program is 27. (About Pre-requisites you can check Heading No 8)
"(4) The candidates having BS (4 years)/Master degree in Chemistry, Computer, Geo Physic or Geology must have studied Physics and Mathematics at undergraduate level"
Field Wise Eligibility
Field wise eligibility criteria and conditions for different discipline are given below. These conditions are mandatory for all Regular students as well as Fellowships.
5. Procedure of Selection
- The procedure of selection for admission in PIEAS is totally on the base of Merit for the Fellowship and Regular from all over Pakistan.
- The students who meet the above-mentioned criteria for regular students and fellowship will be called for a written test.
- PIEAS will call for interview only those students who passed the written test.
- The final result will be on the base of Written test and Interview.
6. Duration of Postgraduate Programs
The duration for the MS Programs is two years. This two year time period for MS programs is divided into 4 Regular semesters. If we divide these four semesters into more details then it will look like. 16 weeks teaching, 2 weeks examination, 10 weeks for summer session with all these PIEAS are offering Zeroeth Semester of about 10 weeks to give the basic concept of computing, mathematics and the other areas.
Fellows are Required to Attend the Zeoreth Semester classes Regularly. Successful Compiletion of the Zeroeth Semester is Mandatory for Fellows for Their Regirstration in the First Semester
7. Term & Conditions for Fellowships
Term & Conditions for Fellowship of PAEC and IT Endowment Fund scholarship are different.
1. PAEC Fellowships
PAEC fellowship will be remained to continue on the base of satisfactory performance. At the end of every semester, their performance adjudge. PAEC will pay the RS. 35,000 per month to those students who will win the fellowship program with the following benefits.
2. IT Endowment Fund
IT endowment Fund Scholarship is only available for only two programs, namely MS Computer Science and Cyber Security. This scholarship will be continued on the base of satisfactory performance in every semester. The Winning students for this scholarship will receive RS. 25,000 and some additional benefits.
3. Other Fellowships
Some other fellowships are also available with the same benefit of PAEC'S fellowships.
8. Who and How to apply (Step by Step Procedure)
This is main where I will tell how you can apply for admission in PIEAS. I will explain the complete procedure but first I want to tell something else which is necessary. If you are applying for MS then your final exams and thesis/project should be completed before joining date of PIEAS (November 2019).
1. Point to be Noted
- If you don't get 1st division in Final Exam, your selection will be canceled, this rule is for those students who apply on the base of Provisional Certificate.
- Your application will not entertain if you don't fill the application form correctly or left any column blank.
- Your deposited application processing fee will not be refunded.
2. Application Processing Fee
First of all, make sure in the bank in which you are submitting your application processing fee is online Bank or Not. Because the Account of PIEAS is Online which is given below.
3. Complete Procedure
The application submission procedure for PIEAS Admission is online so you have gone from the following steps to complete your application procedure. These steps are given in the following.

Step#1 Details
First of All, click on this link http://red.pieas.edu.pk/. After clicking on this link you will go here.
Step#2 Admission 2019
After Clicking on the details your screen will look like this.
Step#3 Postgraduate (MS)
When you clicked on the Admission 2019 then Next screen that will be displayed to you.
Step#4 Apply Online
Now you have to click on the left side on "Postgraduate (MS). When you scroll down then at the end you see "Apply Online".
Step#5 Select Level of Degree Program
When you click on apply online this screen will show to you. Now you have to "Select Degree Program". If you account already created then just enter your CNIC and Password below and log in.
Step#6 Create Applicant Account
After Selecting the Degree Program then Click on the Create Applicant Account Button.
Step#7 Create Account
When you Click on the Create Account button then you will see the registration page like this. Here you have to fill your information and create your account. Creating your Account go back to the login page and fill the application form for the further main application procedure.
4. Field-wise Eligibility and Pre-Requisite Degree for Fellowships
Different Postgraduate programs where you are eligible to apply and Pre-requisite degree or programs which are necessary for your selected programs are given below. You can check the Pre-requisites degree or programs for your special Discipline in which you want to take admission. List of all the postgraduate Discipline and their relevant Pre-Requisites are given below.
5. Field-wise Eligibility and Pre-Requisite Degree for Regular Students
Regular Fee Basis Students can apply for all MS programs which are offered by PIEAS. The programs which are mentioned in the above Fellowships programs. You can apply for all those programs with the given pre-requisites fields. If you belong to those pre-requisites degree then you can apply and can get admission in the corresponding MS programs as regular students. You can check the Pre-requisites degree or programs for your special Discipline in which you want to take admission. Some postgraduate Discipline and their Pre-Requisites are given below.
9. Fee Structure for Regular Fee Basis Students
In this portion, I will try to give the complete details of Fee structure for the Regular Students. How you can submit your first-semester fee and other all fee details. After seeing all the fee details you can decide if this university is suitable for you or not. Can you afford the expenses of the university? Because it is most import sometimes some students get admission but can't afford the expenses then left the university. If you can't afford then even don't your money on the Application processing fee. But you think this fee is suitable and manageable then you can apply.
Fee for 1st Semester
10. Refund Policy for Fee
You can refund your whole fee without Admission Charges within 7th days. 50% will be refunded from 8th to 15th days. After 15 days you can't even refund a single penny.
11. Information about Written Test (Sample Paper)
PIEAS take aptitude Written test like any other university of Pakistan which is basically to check intelligence and basic knowledge and understanding of Mathematics, Science, Engineering, And Analytical/logical thinking.
